SAN DIEGO METROPOLITAN TRANSIT SYSTEM

San Diego's Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) provides light rail service and is operated on four lines (the Blue, Orange, Green and Silver Lines) with a total of 53 stations and 102.6 miles of rail, 93 fixed bus routes, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) complementary paratransit service (MTS Access). Fixed route bus service includes local, urban, express, premium express and rural routes.

You can plan your trip with Google Transit too. MTS and NCTD are participating in this program.

A special trip on the vintage PCC car is where passengers can experience the style and grace of earlier times as soon as you climb aboard the completely restored San Diego Vintage Trolley. Originally built in 1946, this President's Conference Committee (PCC) car #529 was designed to ignite the public's enthusiasm for streetcars.
